Florence Lego Robotics & Coding

Designed for the elementary learner, LEGO WeDo Robotics introduces young students to robotics and programming in this fun, engaging, hands on class. Projects include animals, soccer players and more! Students will: build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors, program their models on the computer using icon based software, develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, develop skills in language and literacy, develop skills in cooperative learning, teamwork. Students will also learn how to code their own apps using a simplified version of JavaScript. They get a login and are able to practice coding all year long.
