Description

Get kids in the fall season with our Turkey Science camp that will have them saying WOW. Schools are closed this week but our awesome camp in Mission Hills is open.

 

We will be holding camp on 11/24, 11/25, and 11/26. These are just some of the awesome experiements and activities students will be doing throughout the week:

  • Experiment with "magical" dancing corn.
  • Learn the physics of (turkey) feather electricity.
  • Hypothesize about the biological nature of turkey tracks and other animal footprints 
  • Test with turkey "basters" (pipettes and other chemistry equipment)
  • Create and paint turkey feathers and experiment with chromotography
  • Race turkey balloon rockets

Develop skills in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, language, literacy, cooperative learning, and teamwork.
Projects are designed specifically for children ages 4-12, and they will love every minute of this fun, hands-on camp.

Participants must be entering grades transitional kindergarten to 5.
