Description

In this hands-on camp, students will have a blast exploring the science of food using everyday kitchen ingredients. This kid-safe class will build confidence in the kitchen and in the science lab as we use different measuring tools, knead dough, read recipes, and explore the science of food.

Camp is designed by Teacher Brenna, one of our amazing teachers who holds certifications in Plant-Based Nutrition and Cooking from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. Please include any allergies upon registering and we will do our best to adjust recipes and activities as needed.

Activities typically include:

  • Making Ice Cream in a Bag
  • Kneading Delicious Energy Balls
  • Salt Dough Ornaments
  • Rolling Out Pizza Dough
  • Density Column Experiments
  • Food Taste Testing

All of our camps include lots of time spent outodors so campers can get their energy out and stay grounded.
